I’m babysitting my Goddaughter, and flipping through my too many channels cable. Wasn’t really the time for a Miike flick if you know what I mean? And, fortunately I came across Surf Ninja’s. I haven’t seen this movie in years. It was like Amelie found my old copy & returned it to me without me knowing. I used to love this movie. It wasn’t as great as it used to be, but it was good enough for me to sit through it with my Goddaughter. Ernie Reyes Jr. used to be the man back then. Now, he just gets these small roles in stuff like The Rundown & Rush Hour 2. I remember him from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Let’s get this guy in more movies. I bet he could beat up John Cho. Anyway, this is a great karate kids movie. It’s fun! Plus, Leslie Nielson, Rob Schneider, & Tone Loc are in this movie adding to the fun. Overall, it’s a pretty corny movie. I didn’t have the good time I used to have watching it, but my Goddaughter loved it. That’s all that matters, right. It is kids movie.
